“Uncle John” was/is very special to me. I e-mailed him before he passed, and we had a good time remembering the old days on Olympic Blvd. at the yard. I worked for John’s nephew Ed Ambroff as a welder. I’m Morey and Richard’s cousin. My Mom and Dad ran the Armenian Bakery on Telegraph Rd. Uncle John knew I was a car nut and would always invite me in when the garage was open to see the 41 Willys. I remember Victor when he was a little kid. I will miss Big John.
